Austin Abel was raised in North Texas where he took any spare time he had and spent it outdoors with his dad. Since the age of thirteen, Austin has been surrounded by farm and ranch real estate, thanks to his dad. This is where he gained his interest in helping others achieve their dreams of owning their own property. He has been an avid bow hunter since he got his first bow on his 16th birthday. Austin spent most of his youth hunting in Cuero, Texas, where he shot his first buck at nine years old. Brad grew up in the South Texas town of Cuero (Spanish for rawhide) where he spent much of his youth hunting dove, quail, squirrels, rabbits and whitetail deer on their family farm along the Guadalupe River. He learned to fish the coastal waters of Port O’Connor with his Dad for redfish, speckled trout and flounder. He now enjoys hunting and fishing with his sons John and Austin. His varied background includes over 12 years of farming and ranching experience including six years with the world renowned King Ranch in the Quarter Horse Division. He spent one year as interim cameraman for Larry Weishuhn’s “Hunting the World” TV show which included trips to Alaska and British Columbia hunting for Black Bear, Caribou and Grizzly Bear. He also spent almost 4 years with KEDT, the PBS affiliate in Corpus Christi as a producer and cameraman for a variety of political and local interest TV shows. On the business side, he held corporate sales and client relation positions with IBM and Sony/BMG. Brad earned his BA degree in Communications from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Brad has almost 12 years experience as licensed realtor in Texas and Oklahoma. He has represented both buyers and sellers with properties that range from 88 acres with a 45 acre trophy bass lake to a sprawling 4200 acre Oklahoma ranch. Tim grew up in the small town of Cuero, in south Texas. His grandfather owned a fishing cabin in Port O’Connor and weekends were spent on the water where his dad would take him to chase trophy trout and redfish. At the age of 10, he started working on the J Carter Thomas Ranch, where his cousin was foreman. He was just big enough to reach the pedals of the hay truck and could barely lift the square bales of hay, but this is when he learned the value of a hard days work. Even while working shift work at a previous job that afforded him a lot of off days, he spent these days working cattle at the ranch. Some of his favorite memories were being horseback at daylight working cattle. Tim graduated from Sam Houston State University, with an Agriculture Business degree. He lives in Bryan/College Station with his wife and has two sons. Together, they hunt white tailed deer, hogs and turkey on the same ranch where he worked as a kid. Tim’s strong faith and sense of family has shaped the man he is today.
