As a native Washingtonian, I enjoy all that life has to offer here in the Pacific Northwest. Growing up in Seattle affords me the perspective of expansion the region has experienced in the past. I have lived in Bellingham for 20 years and also own a beach cabin on Waldron Island in the San Juans.
My experience in real estate includes residential, commercial, condominiums and vacant land. I am licensed to practice real estate in the state of Washington and am a member of the Bellingham/Whatcom County MLS and the Northwest MLS, CBA Commercial Brokers Association as well as the National Association of Realtors, the Whatcom County Association of Realtors and the Washington Association of Realtors. I also have earned the designation of Accredited Buyers' Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and EcoBroker Certified. I have been an owner, manager and renovator of single-family and multiple-family buildings for over 30 years.
My mother started one of the first female-owned independent real estate companies in Seattle in the late 1950s and later opened branch offices on Whidbey Island and the San Juan Islands. I understand real estate because I’ve been immersed in it all my life. Born and raised in the real estate industry, I have extensive knowledge which enables me to provide you with the most accurate information available. Real estate runs in my blood.
The purchase or sale of property is a large investment. Often it is the biggest financial decision you will make. You can count on me to assist you through every step of the decision you will make. I fully understand and can help you facilitate your 1031 exchange. I invest my time to ensure that your experience is positive and profitable.
My choice to be an agent with The Muljat Group is due to its strong reputation and because it is one of the few brokers in the area which is locally-owned. As an active member of the community I am a Founding Board Member of the Kulshan Community Land Trust, a Charter Member of Sustainable Connections, a Board Member and Acting Secretary of ReSources for Sustainable Communities and I am also a Member of the City of Bellingham Planning and Development Commission. With each transaction that I manage, a percentage of my commission goes to a local non-profit. Because this is one of the fastest-growing regions in the country, I am working with clients and organizations to help create sustainable solutions in order to preserve our unique environment for future generations.
