Jacky Christian came to Southern Colorado in 1995 with her husband Mike and four children. Finding Cuchara, Colorado after living in Phoenix, Arizona was like finding another world where "Time Stood Still" in a world gone crazy. She felt their family had found a Hidden Treasure that only a very few knew existed. In this place it was as though you "Stepped back in time" and lived in one of the Absolute Most Beautiful places ever seen.
Mike and Jacky started a church named Cuchara Christian Fellowship at entry to Cuchara Mountain Resort in 1996 and they both worked at Cuchara Mountain Resort in the Marketing area. They hosted the Cuchara Mountain Ski Area Resort Booths at Ski Shows in Texas and Colorado and Jacky worked specifically with all incoming groups from Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Kansas. Previously Jacky had worked several years in New York for Wilhelmina Models and then switching to Ford Models,she worked all over the world as a High Fashion Model. Traveling from New York to Japan to Paris and Germany as well as Morocco, Belgium and the Philippines to name just a few places she worked prior to moving to Colorado. After experiencing all the Breathtaking places around the world Jacky and her husband, Mike felt Southern Colorado was truly home.
Starting Capture Colorado in 2002 with a genuine love for the area now gave her the ability to help others beat the rat race and slip away to this Incredible area called La Veta, Cuchara, and Stonewall, Colorado.
