Jared Chambers
Since joining Peoples Company in 2014, Jared has made his mark as an award-winning professional auctioneer and as a licensed real estate agent in Iowa and Missouri. Whether serving as the lead auctioneer or as a professional ringman during auction day, he strives to make sure the auction process is executed in a professional manner. Jared is also an integral part of the online auction capabilities that Peoples Company can provide, either by online only auctions or a combination of live and online bidding.
In 2012, Jared attended the Reppert School of Auctioneering in Indianapolis and is very active in the National Auctioneers Association (NAA), Iowa Auctioneers Association (IAA), and the Missouri Professional Auctioneers Association (MPAA). Jared was awarded the 2014 Grand Champion Rookie Bid Caller and also the 2014 Grand Champion Ringman at the IAA annual conference. In 2016, he was elected for a three year term as a Director for the IAA. Jared has served as a state ambassador for the NAA and is also a graduate of the Professional Ringmen’s Institute (PRI). In August 2017, at the Iowa State Fair, Jared was crowned Iowa State Champion Auctioneer at the IAA Bid Calling Finals making him the first triple crown winner in the IAA annual competitions.
Through his membership in the NAA, Jared has obtained his Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI), Graduate Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA) and Benefit Auctioneer Specialist (BAS) designations. The Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) is the most respected professional designation an auctioneer can acquire. CAI designees pride themselves on being a part of an extraordinary network of professional auctioneers who possess the knowledge and skills needed to provide their clients with outstanding services. They are committed to continuing education and are dedicated to professionalism, integrity and excellence in the auction profession.
Growing up in Wayne County, Jared spent most of his time with his father, who owned a grading, excavating, and land improvement business serving southern Iowa and northern Missouri. When not meeting with clients, touring farm ground, or working auctions Jared can be found spending time with his wife Pam and their son Jett. They live on a small acreage just outside of Corydon, Iowa and in their free time enjoy camping with their family and friends. On Friday nights in the fall you can hear Jared announcing the home football games and other activities for the Wayne Falcons.
