My family settled in the San Juan Islands in the early 1960s. My grandparents were dairy farmers and raised beef cattle. I grew up in the barn, garden and kitchen. After 30+ years on Orcas, there is no other place in the world where I would rather be. I have been in the real estate business since arriving on Orcas, starting in the title business and working my way through the details to close a purchase and sale agreement. I have been a licensed Realtor for 24 years and feel honored to work in an industry that sparked my passion for helping people. With a deep appreciation for and connection to our island, I welcome opportunities to support our community through volunteering and board service for non-profits. You also can find me gardening, laughing with grandchildren, and venturing out on the water in my tug boat, exploring the nature that surrounds us.
I embrace the opportunity to share my love of island life, the history of our agricultural and farming community and listening to stories of how others found their way to Orcas Island and what they enjoy most about island life.
This simple farm girl found her place here on Orcas Island and I hope to help you find your place here, too.
