After growing up near Albany, MN on a dairy farm, Maria graduated from St. Cloud State University where she received a degree in business and computer science. She moved to Basalt in the Fall of 2001 and realized she could not imagine a life anywhere else. After a detour in Aspen for several years, she created her home in Carbondale where she’s been for the past ten years.
Maria has built her reputation for customer service in a variety of management positions throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. Before joining Coldwell Banker Mason Morse, she worked as the distribution manager at The Aspen Times, front of the house manager at White House Pizza and reservationist at Tenth Mtn Huts.
Her wealth of knowledge, friendly personality, hard work ethic and love of valley has allowed Maria to make a dream life, a reality in the valley. When she’s not showing homes, she loves to be either road or mountain biking in the summer or skiing in the backcountry during the winter months.
Contributing to the community is part of her DNA. She held a board and treasurer position at KDNK public radio station for three years and loves to help make and deliver meals for the Pathfinder foundation. You can find Maria at local Aspen Cycling Club race events or hiking Highlands bowl in the winter. Above all, Maria is excited to share her passion for the valley and community with every client and friend. Her drive to help individuals love where they live is infectious. Call Maria today. Her sales statistics don't lie... in the first 14 months in her real estate career she has had 11 closings, has sold $8.9 million dollars and sold the highest price home in Smuggler Park in Aspen at $1.69 million.
