Shawn is an accredited rural appraiser with a focus on farms, dairies, ranches, aggregate properties and more. She has been a Real Estate Salesperson for 10+ years and a Designated Broker for the past 5 years, gaining extensive knowledge of industry and community. In 2000, Shawn earned her Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from the Arizona State University and later went on the earn her MBA from the institution in 2004. Shawn serves on multiple agriculture related committees and boards throughout the state such as Maricopa County Farm Bureau, Maricopa County Farm Bureau Woman, Maricopa County Fair Board and Arizona Farm and Ranch Experience. Shawn lends her time to educating the community on agriculture issues and trends throughout the year at the Arizona American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers Ag Forum, the Maricopa County Extension Farming Workshop and at the Arizona Farm Bureau Speakers Bureau.

Chrissy’s connection to real estate began early. She grew up around development and construction, with her mother serving as President of a large construction company in the Seattle area. Before transitioning into real estate and relocating to the Columbia Gorge, Chrissy built a successful career in marketing, advertising, and client management. She led large-scale TV, digital, and print campaigns across the U.S. for Fortune 500 companies including T-Mobile, Nordstrom Corporate, and Alaska Airlines.
That background gives Chrissy a distinct edge. Her understanding of branding, negotiation, and positioning allows her to thoughtfully market complex and high-value properties, advocate effectively for her clients, and navigate transactions with clarity and confidence. Outside of real estate, Chrissy and her family are deeply rooted in the Columbia Gorge lifestyle. She and her husband Brock enjoy raising their two children, Jackson and Brynn, while spending as much time as possible outdoors—hiking, skiing, biking, fishing, and exploring the region they call home. They are also owners of Trout Lake Cozy Cabins, a boutique lodging property in Trout Lake, Washington, which further reflects Chrissy’s passion for place, hospitality, and community.
A native Houstonian, David graduated from Memorial High School in 1980 and received a BA in finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 1984. He traveled internationally after college, then moved to California, where he cultivated a diverse management background, including two years in residential mortgage brokerage, nine years in international trade management, and six years in enterprise software sales management.
David returned to Houston in 2001, obtained his real estate license and joined his father, David H Young, in residential real estate sales. In January 2005, they started the David Young Team, bringing together top producing agents and experienced assistants to provide the highest quality service to buyers and sellers of residential real estate. They were recognized for 12 years by the Houston Business Journal as one of the Top 5 Teams in Houston, with sales volume in excess of $100,000,000 per year.
David joined Compass in October 2020, where he operates as Young Realty Group - a small team of agents and a licensed assistant that has been with them since 2014.
On a personal level, David's wife Brenda and he are very active in animal rescue. She established Save A Purrfect Cat Rescue many years ago and they, along with an army of volunteers, find homes for 250-300 cats every year. To keep fit he has practiced Tae Kwon Do since the 1990s and has been a member of the Houstonian Club since 2007. He also relieves stress by banging on his drum set.
