Alan Drew is a native Californian, raised on the Central Coast with a background in ranching and a love for the outdoors. His passion for the land comes naturally. The intimate knowledge of Central California and the local connections that Alan has developed over his lifetime are a tremendous benefit to his real estate clients.
Alan brings a thorough, knowledgeable, and professional customer service ethic to every transaction, every day.
Showing large ranch and sporting properties requires qualified answers to spontaneous questions from our clients.
Having worked in the ranching and equestrian industry in California and Nevada from the ground up, Alan understands the details and challenges unique to ranch and sporting properties.
In 2017, Alan joined the team at La Tierra Home & Ranch, representing luxury homes, ranches, and select properties throughout central California.
La Tierra Realty is one of the most knowledgable and experienced firms representing listings at The Santa Lucia Preserve- a truly ‘first of its kind’ residential community that first was offered in 1999.
The Preserve consists of 297 home sites on 20,000 acres (with 18,000 acres held in permanent open space) in one of the most beautiful landscapes in California. Complete with two private clubs (Golf and Ranch), a first class equestrian facility, a Tom Fazio designed golf course, sports and fitness facilities and one hundred miles of trails -The Preserve is an enormous private parkland for 300 families.
The Central California backcountry is home to many “hidden gems” and Alan is always enthusiastic to share his knowledge about the beauty and recreational possibilities of this area.
Alan is an avid equestrian, skier, fly fisherman, mountain biker, trap shooter & backpacker.
He is a member of The Preserve Golf and Ranch Clubs, Rancheros Visitadores, and Carmel Associated Sportsmen.
Alan gives back to the community through his service with the Monterey County Sherriff’s Search and Rescue Team.
In addition to Real Estate, Alan is a licensed contractor and an Architectural Blacksmith, having built and installed his first metalwork commission in 1990.
His work (including doors, gates, railings, fireplaces, and lighting) is placed in some of the finest homes and luxury properties in Florida, Texas, Montana, California and Hawaii.
I am Scotty Felton, an Associate Broker and Licensed Virginia Real Estate Agent with Long & Foster Realtors, and I would like to welcome you to South Boston and Halifax County.
As a member of Southern Piedmont Land & Lake Association of Realtors I can show any property listed. Furthermore, I feel that Long & Foster overall, and I as their representative broker, do an outstanding job of making the relocation process as easy as possible. As a native of the county and a lifelong participant in the community, I have cultivated an extensive network of business associates and contacts that are ready to lend a hand to my prospective clients.
When you visit the community, I will be glad to personally give you and your family a community tour. This is an opportunity for you to review the local real estate market and to see places of interest in the area; it can be tailored to the needs and interests of your family. Among the most attractive features of our county are its vibrant arts programs and foundations, including dance, music, and two- and three-dimensional art, the historical significance of the county, local farmers and farmer's market and organic products artisans, and natural resources for hiking, camping, horseback riding, fishing and hunting. During the tour, I can put you in contact with people who participate in each of these activities, according to your interests.
I can also connect you with people who can assist you with detailed information of particular interest, such as schools personnel and medical professionals.
I love Halifax County, and I love introducing people in this area. I can't imagine a better place to call home.
I grew up in a small East Texas town, in a family full of traditions. As a little girl I always loved helping people and learned that anything can be accomplished with hard work. As a Realtor I apply these same ideals to my profession of helping you buy and/or sell Real Estate.
At a young age I helped start the New Leash on Life animal society, helping to find abused and neglected animals a new home. I managed my first business at age 18 running a Vitamin store and Coffee shop. While managing these two businesses I received my Associates of Science degree from Navarro College. I moved to Fort Worth to complete my degree and attended Texas Christian University.
In 2006 I began a career in the Oil and Gas Sector working for Fortune 500 companies like Chesapeake Energy, Access Midstream, and Williams Companies. With hard work and an impeccable attention to detail I quickly worked my way up to managing multiple departments; Due Diligence, Records, and Property Rights dealing with divestitures, acquisitions and managing hundreds of millions of dollars worth of the pipeline assets.
When the natural gas market faltered I transitioned in to Real Estate, using my years of experience in dealing with thousands of land deals and easements, it was a perfect fit for me.
I first started my career in Real Estate on a team, and during my first 9 months of Real Estate I closed over $5,000,000.00 worth of sales. I am hard working and determined to find a way to help you locate the property you are looking for. I try to set myself apart by being proactive instead of reactive, doing what I say I am going to do, when I say I’m going to do it. Customer service and making your Real Estate transaction as easy and enjoyable as possible is my goal.
I am married and proud to proclaim myself as a “boy mom” to two handsome and wildly energetic boys. We also have two Labradors, Willie and Tank.
