Michael grew up on a farm in Northern Colorado, along with farming he became an avid outdoorsman and has been hunting and fishing for over 40 years. He currently owns and operates a waterfowl hunting club and has been guiding waterfowl hunts for over 20 years. Michael studied Exercise Physiology at UNC in Greeley where he played on a varsity football scholarship, this launched him into a 30 year career in the health and fitness industry in which he is still involved as an event promoter. Michael was a Licensed Real Estate Broker from 2002-2009, when the market went south he decided to pursue other interests. Now he is back in the career he is most passionate about and with his extensive knowledge of water rights, mineral rights, farming operations and hunting management he is selling the product he has most knowledge of as well. John grew up in Colorado with a love for outdoor life. He spent much of his time hunting, fishing and working in the outdoors. John’s family had a deep vested interest in ranching. The love of cattle and horses transcended into John’s life. John spent his college years in Wyoming where he continued working on cattle ranches and after college. He has also owned and operated small businesses thoughtout his life and one business opportunity brought him and his family to Oklahoma. Now, John has turned his love of the land into a full time real estate career. John has a eye for land and the multiple uses this great resource provides. His son and daughter showed horses internationally until they reached college age, so he has a vast knowledge of horses and horse properties all over the United States. Duncan Clark grew up in a ranching family in West Texas where he gained a great deal of knowledge about cattle, wildlife, and how to manage and maintain range and wildlife habitat. With this background in the outdoors, Duncan quickly turned hunting, fishing, and the outdoors into a passion. Spending summers on his family’s ranch west of Laramie, Wyoming, Duncan became accustomed to the western lifestyle, especially big game hunting and fly fishing. His love for exploring the western states archery hunting Elk and Deer to fly fishing the many lakes, rivers, and streams in the west lead Duncan to moving to Colorado full time to attend school at Colorado State University. While attending school he spent most of his free time working on the ranch right up the road in Wyoming and going on hunting and fishing trips, gaining a great deal of knowledge of the land along the way. During his time in school he worked as a Fly Fishing and waterfowl guide traveling the country chasing fish and waterfowl meeting many people that shared the same passion for the outdoors. After graduating from Colorado State University with a degree in Real Estate & Finance, Duncan has found a career path in farm, ranch, and recreational real estate that combines his love for the outdoors and knowledge of real estate. He particularly loves bass fishing and has made many trips up to Eastern Canada to catch smallmouth, pike, and walleye. Eric Cromer is a Salesperson in Kansas. Born and raised in a diversified livestock operation in south central Kansas he has a great love for the people and places of the Midwest. After completing college, Eric moved to Nashville, Tennessee to work in the music business, initially for Reba McEntire and subsequently with Brooks & Dunn. After touring and traveling the country with these artists, he moved back home to assume control of the family livestock operation in Sawyer, Kansas. Kerry Cromer is a salesperson in Kansas. He was born and raised in Pratt County Kansas and has a love and understanding for rural America. He graduated high school and joined his father in the family livestock operation which managed a 35,000 acre ranch raising Angus cattle. They also operated an equine breeding facility specialized in selective breeding of world class halter horses, and produced multiple World Champion Horses. Kerry's father retired in 2003 and Kerry continued the horse operation breeding and raising quality horses for the show ring and the ranch. His horses compete at the world level. John Herrity was raised on the family farm in Elk Point, South Dakota, homesteaded by his great grandfather in 1888. Rick has been involved with agriculture and the outdoors his entire life. He grew up in western Iowa on the family grain and livestock farm and has been successfully selling farms and ranches in Colorado, Kansas and Nebraska for over 18 years. After working a couple of years in the Wyoming oilfields, Rick was able to move back home to Iowa and purchase the family farm from his grandparents where he raised corn, soybeans, small grains, and alfalfa in addition to operating a 1500 head cattle feedlot, a farrow to finish hog operation, an 80 head cow herd, and a small trucking business. In 1994 Rick moved to Akron, Colorado where he ventured into the John Deere business and worked as a salesman and was soon promoted to General Manager of a very successful dealership where he worked until 2002. Rick received his Colorado Real Estate license in 2000 and soon after he decided to devote his attention entirely to the real estate and management industry. Rick graduated from Western College of Auctioneering in Billings, Montana in June, 2007 and has assisted several auction companies as either an auctioneer or ringman, as well as personally conducting many successful auctions. Rick has always been an avid outdoorsman and has filled many days either, hunting, fishing or trapping in several states and has a great appreciation for the majesty of the outdoors. Rick was also a volunteer fireman for 20 years. He served at both the local and state levels with the Iowa Cattleman’s Association as a board member and a director, and was named as one of the “Outstanding Young Cattlemen” in the State of Iowa in 1990. Rick is very active in his community and church. He and his wife Jessica were married in 2016 and they love to spend time with their children and grandchildren. Rick is currently a Broker Associate in Colorado and a Salesperson in Nebraska and Kansas, specializing in agricultural and recreational properties. He continues to operate his own cow herd and also consults for several farms and ranches in multiple western states. Since I was a young girl, I have had an immense reverence for the outdoors and nature. You could likely find me at the barn, or at the lake, rod in hand. Growing up, my family and I moved several times- from Pennsylvania, to North Carolina, to Texas. My love of the outdoors has brought me to live in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. I have been involved in Real Estate for the past two years, and I am so fortunate for the opportunity to integrate my love for the land into my career with Hayden Outdoors. I reside in Eagle, CO and enjoy the friendly feel of the small town community. I feel blessed to keep this way of life present, and share this beautiful lifestyle in my career. He financed his college education with earnings from a commercial cattle herd he established as a teenager. After graduating from Oregon State University, A.J. began a 25-year career in journalism and publishing, working as a newspaper reporter and magazine editor, and writing extensively about the ranching culture. He was the editor of Western Horseman for a decade, and editor of Ranch & Reata for its full five-year run. As a journalist, A.J. has traveled widely throughout the North American West and beyond, visiting some of the world’s most intriguing and innovative ranching operations in order to share their experiences and knowledge with readers, a skill set that proves invaluable in marketing ranch properties.
