Midview Farm consists of 178 +/- deeded acres with approximately 78 acres under sprinkler irrigation. The Farm consistently produces 5 tons to the acre due to the climate, soils and good dependable water. The Farm borders the Midview Reservoir recreation area and has good year round access. Recreation Due to the location of the Farm, there are good recreational opportunities within close distance. Midview Reservoir is stocked with numerous species of fish including smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, walleye, and rainbow trout. Other activities include boating, swimming, or to just spend a relaxing day at the lake! The Utah State record smallmouth bass was caught in the reservoir back in 1996 which weighed 7 lbs. 6 ounces.  The Farm is just a short distance from several national forest access points along with multiple lakes and rivers with excellent fishing. Agriculture Historically on average, the Midview Farm produces 4 cuttings a year producing 5 ton to the acre! After the last cutting the fields continue to be irrigated and used as fall pasture. The fields currently consist of alfalfa, grass, oats, and are irrigated from side roll sprinklers. The Farms water is fed by 78 shares out of the Duchesne irrigation canal.           Location Duchesne, UT  is approximately 20 minutes to the west. Head east roughly 20 minutes and you will find Roosevelt, UT. The larger town of Vernal, UT is just under 1 hour east of the Farm and Salt Lake City is approximately 2 hours to the west.
