Upper Hughs Ranch

The Upper Hughs Ranch consist of 1157 +/- deeded acres and the contiguous 1231 acre Upper Hughs grazing allotment. The ranch backs up to thousands of acres of BLM with very limited public access. The Ranch features over a mile of live water from several springs. These Springs create a number of year around ponds for wildlife and livestock.Featuring over 200 acres of alfalfa fields and several pastures along with the BLM grazing allotment the ranch can run approximately 75 pair without having a diverse effect on the hunting. Each pasture has good water either from springs or water tanks fed by water wells.Located in hunting unit 11 the ranch qualifies and receives deer and antelope vouchers on a yearly basis. The elk tags are over the counter for archery, 2nd season, 3rd season and 1st season usually has left over tags available.
