Emily Kahanek Shaw

Emily Kahanek Shaw has called Fayette County home her entire life. Raised in the Round Top–La Grange area, she’s deeply connected to the land, the people, and the traditions that make this corner of Texas so special. After college, she married her high school sweetheart, Casey, and together they raise their four children while running CE Cattle Co. and managing their investment properties. Life is full—and Emily wouldn’t have it any other way.

Emily’s clients often say she just “gets it done.” She listens, keeps things real, and genuinely cares about helping people find what fits—not just on paper, but in life. Her deep ties to the community and the trust she’s built over the years led respected developer Terry Ward to bring her into his Country Communities projects, where her insight and heart have played an important role. In her first year at Round Top Real Estate, Emily was named the company-wide top producer for 2023 and was recognized again as a top producer in 2024—a reflection of both her work ethic and how deeply she connects with her clients. Outside of real estate, Emily is a board member for the state champion Fayetteville Lions Athletic Booster Club and PTC, as well as a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (Smith-McMillan Chapter). Emily loves skiing, quilting, hunting, playing tennis, pickleball, and golf. She lives the lifestyle she sells—and brings the same down-to-earth energy to every client she helps.
