After college at Texas A&M’s Institute of Electronic Science, I worked for Texaco as an electronic technologist at the Bellaire research Lab in Houston. From Texaco I moved into electronic sales for a NYSE traded manufacturer of electronic packaging hardware on the east coast and after a series of increases in responsibility, I became the national sales manager. Wanting to return to Texas, I took advantage of an opportunity to acquire an information services company that provided credit information to the financial services industry.
