Jim Lucarelli has over 34 years of experience in the Telluride real estate market. For 18 years he owned and operated Real Estate Affiliates of Telluride, one of the region’s top boutique real estate offices, with his wife Virginia. In the spring of 2020 Jim was presented with a unique opportunity to join Compass, the most forward leaning and fastest growing brokerage in history. This new association gives him access to some of the finest technology, marketing and management professionals in the U.S. and he is very excited about the opportunities this new venture provides for him and for his clients.

Jim is a past president of the Telluride Association of Realtors and is one of two agents in the market to be recognized by the Telluride Association of Realtors as its Realtor of the Year three times. Jim is fluent in all aspects of Telluride real estate and prides himself on a vast array of market knowledge you can’t find online. He particularly enjoys working with area ranch properties.

Over the years Jim has developed close relationships with many of the old-time ranchers in the area. He currently manages the Sunshine Mesa Land and Cattle company’s property and in the summers he runs a small herd of cattle in the Telluride area.
